Colorado High School Basketball - Valley overwhelmed by Platte Valley

The Valley Vikings basketball team (Gilcrest, CO), was routed 61-25 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO)

The Broncos now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kent Denver for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 15. Platte Valley will battle a Sun Devils team coming off a 56-45 league win over Bishop Machebeuf (Denver, CO). The Sun Devils record now stands at 8-9.

The Vikings (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against University (Greeley, CO). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Patriot test with a 16-2 record. In their last test, University walloped Sterling (Sterling, CO), 45-35, in a league test.
