The North Point Eagles basketball team (Waldorf, MD), dropped 51-38 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD)

The Hornets now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvert for a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, January 17. Great Mills will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 56-47 league win over Northern (Owings, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-2.

The Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Chargers come into the Southern Maryland battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Lackey prevailed over Stone (Waldorf, MD), 59-39, in a league battle.
