The Florence Gophers basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils to 10 in the Gophers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Gophers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pusch Ridge Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 3. Florence will battle a Lions team coming off a 42-31 non-league loss to Cienega (Vail, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
