The Owen Warhorses basketball team (Black Mountain, NC), was overwhelmed 66-31 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC)

The Gryphons now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Tech for a 1A/2A Conference 40 battle on Tuesday, December 21. Thomas Jefferson will confront a Rams team coming off a 80-72 league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-4.
