The Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) basketball nipped the host Trinity Shamrocks (Camp Hill, PA), 61-56 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lancers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Tigers go into the Heartland II test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Southern Columbia Area got by Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA), 62-25, in a non-league test.

The Shamrocks now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Pennsboro for a Mid-Penn - Capital test on Tuesday, December 14. Trinity will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 70-46 non-league loss to Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
