The Northeast Lauderdale Trojans basketball team (Meridian, MS), dropped 62-50 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Choctaw Central Warriors (Philadelphia, MS)

The Warriors now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louisville for a 4A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 18. Choctaw Central will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 77-33 league loss to Leake Central (Carthage, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-9.

The Trojans (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Knights come into the 4A Region 4 battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, West Lauderdale beat Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS), 67-66, in a league battle.
