Indiana High School Basketball - Wabash can't hold off Peru

The Peru Tigers basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Wabash Apaches to 72 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 2. Peru will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-47 non-league loss to Carroll (Flora, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 13-8.

The Apaches (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Adams Central (Monroe, IN). The Flying Jets come into the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Adams Central edged Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN), 48-41, in a non-league contest.
