Georgia High School Basketball - Tattnall Square Academy edges Twiggs County
February 5, 2022: Jeffersonville, GA 31044 The Tattnall Square Academy Trojans (Macon, GA) basketball nipped the host Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), 51-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA). The Patriots go into the A Private Region 1 test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Strong Rock Christian was tipped by Stratford Academy (Macon, GA), 76-58, in a league test.
The Cobras now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they host Georgia Military College for a A Public Region 7 test on Tuesday, February 8. Twiggs County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-44 league win over Georgia School for Innovation & Classics (Hephzibah, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-11.
