Connecticut High School Basketball - Cheney RVT ripped by Manchester

February 2, 2022: Manchester, CT 06040

The Manchester Red Hawks basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Cheney RVT Beavers to 53 in the Red Hawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Red Hawks now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Windsor for a Central Connecticut - East Colonial contest on Tuesday, February 8. Manchester will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 78-49 non-league loss to Enfield (Enfield, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-10.

The Beavers (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT). The Hawks enter the Connecticut Technical - Central contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Vinal RVT was routed by Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT), 86-76, in a non-league contest.
