The Golden Eagles now possess a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin for a non-league battle on Monday, January 31. Athens will battle a Black Bears team coming off a 58-53 league win over Florence (Florence, AL). The Black Bears record now stands at 18-6.
The Mustangs (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against East Lawrence (Trinity, AL). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 8-16 record. In their last battle, East Lawrence dropped by Clements (Athens, AL), 62-58, in a non-league battle.
