California High School Basketball - Valley Christian knocked off by Rodriguez
December 28, 2021: San Jose, CA 95111 The Rodriguez Mustangs basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Valley Christian Warriors to 56 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antioch for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 4. Rodriguez will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-49 non-league loss to Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-9.
With the defeat, Valley Christian moves to 4-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Thursday, December 30. The Lions enter the match with a record of 8-4. Liberty lost 60-57 in their recent non-league match against Fremont (Oakland, CA)
