The Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) basketball knocked off the host Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), 73-53 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Matadors (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Storm go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record.

The Huskies now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Grants for a non-league test on Monday, January 10. Hope Christian will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 50-46 non-league loss to Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 7-6.
