The Milano Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Granger Lions to 39 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thorndale for a 2A Region IV District 27 contest on Friday, January 28. Milano will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 47-41 league win over Hearne (Hearne, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-7.

The Lions (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Holland (Holland, TX). The Hornets come into the 2A Region IV District 27 contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Holland prevailed over Thrall (Thrall, TX), 54-52, in a league contest.
