The Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting New Hope Academy to 53 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Falcons now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Carroll for a Washington Catholic contest on Friday, February 4. Our Lady of Good Counsel will battle a Lions team coming off a 77-73 league loss to Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 9-7.

The (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Marauders enter the non-league contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Bishop Guilfoyle ran past Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA), 98-78, in a league contest.
