Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Harrisburg knocked off by Williamsport
January 24, 2022: Williamsport, PA 17701 The Williamsport Millionaires basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Harrisburg Cougars to 53 in the Millionaires non-league triumph on Monday.
The Millionaires now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central York for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 27. Williamsport will battle a Panthers team coming off a 68-60 league win over Northeastern (Manchester, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-12.
The Cougars (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Eagles enter the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Cumberland Valley ran past Carlisle (Carlisle, PA), 46-41, in a league contest.
