The Marshall Buffalos volleyball team (Missouri City, TX), was dropped 3-1 in Friday's league challenge with the host Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX)

The Knights (14-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A Region III District 23 challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Clements defeated Kempner (Sugar Land, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Buffalos meet the Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) in a 5A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, September 15. Marshall will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Travis (Richmond, TX).
