The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) football edged the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 18-12 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 22. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to Concord (Concord, NC).
