The Lincoln Charter Eagles basketball team scored 98 points and restricted the visiting Cherryville Ironmen to 82 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Island Charter for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 9. Lincoln Charter will battle a Raptor team coming off a 70-56 league win over Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC). The Raptor record now stands at 5-4.
The Ironmen (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the Southern Piedmont 1A contest with a 8-4 record.
