Washington High School Basketball - Ferndale knocked off by Lynden
February 5, 2020: Ferndale, WA 98248 The Lynden Lions basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Ferndale Golden Eagles to 65 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlington-Edison for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Saturday, February 8. Lynden will battle a Tigers team coming off a 60-40 league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 18-1.
The Golden Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Anacortes (Anacortes, WA). The Seahawks go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Anacortes thwarted Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA), 57-42, in a league outing.
