Washington High School Basketball - Kelso topped by Evergreen
January 31, 2020: Kelso, WA 98626 The Evergreen Plainsmen basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Kelso Hilanders to 44 in the Plainsmen league victory on Friday.
The Plainsmen now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson's Bay for a 3A Greater St. Helens contest on Monday, February 3. Evergreen will battle a Eagles team coming off a 76-68 league loss to Mountain View (Vancouver, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-14.
The Hilanders (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA). The Trappers come into the 3A Greater St. Helens contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Fort Vancouver dropped by Prairie (Vancouver, WA), 60-46, in a league contest.
