The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Chapel Hill Tigers to 54 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millbrook for a CAP 7 4A contest on Thursday, December 19.

The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Vance County (Henderson, NC). The Vipers enter the Big Eight 3A contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Vance County ran past Warren County (Warrenton, NC), 73-64, in a non-league contest.
