North Carolina High School Softball - Western Guilford topped by Northwest Guilford
March 23, 2012: Greensboro, NC 27409 The Northwest Guilford Vikings softball team scored 10 points and limited the visiting Western Guilford Hornets to 2 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Northwest Guilford moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to clash with the Bobcats in a 4A Piedmont Triad game on Tuesday, March 27. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 5-4. Glenn won 8-5 in their recent league game against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC)
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Metro game, on Friday, March 30. Western Guilford will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 7-4 record after their 16-1 league loss to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
