The Fairfax Stampede softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Higley Knights to 3 in the Stampede non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Fairfax improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Stampede travel to Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Bulldogs in a II Section III game on Tuesday, March 12. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 0-6. Sierra Linda lost 14-4 in their recent non-league game against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ)
