Game Summary
The game started OK, as we were able to limit opportunities early. We knew going in that this wasn't a game we could possess the ball in, and we did a nice job keeping shots outside. The score was 1-0 thirty minutes into the match, and we nearly had two golden opportunities to equalize in that time frame. Late in the half, we sustained a couple injuries to key players, and that certainly took the wind out of the sails, as Karns City was able to extend the lead to 3-0 in the last 10 minutes of the first half. The start of the second half was a little sluggish for us, and we ended up conceding another 3 goals before getting a Jasmine Adams goal late. One of the glaring issues in this game was defending short corners, something we'll need to address moving forward.
