The New Buffalo Bison football team (New Buffalo, MI), was ripped 68-26 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Marcellus Wildcats (Marcellus, MI)

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawrence (Lawrence, MI). The Tigers come into the Southwestern Michigan III (8 Man) challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Lawrence was ripped by Bangor (Bangor, MI), 36-8, in a league challenge.

The Bison now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eau Claire for a Southwestern Michigan II (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 15. New Buffalo will meet a Beavers team coming off a 56-12 league win over Our Lady of the Lake Catholic (St. Joseph, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 2-1.
