The Canton South Wildcats (Canton, OH) football edged the visiting Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH), 27-26 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 10. Canton South will attempt to move on its 13-0 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 11-1 record after their 31-28 non-league win over Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH).
