Texas High School Football - Dunbar sneaks past Ponder

The Dunbar Wildcats football squad scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Ponder Lions to 29 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyatt for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Dunbar will face a Chaparrals squad coming off a 17-10 non-league win over Joshua (Joshua, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 2-0.

Coming up next, the Lions face the Krum Bobcats (Krum, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Ponder will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 19-16 non-league win over Burkburnett (Burkburnett, TX).
