The Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ) football edged the visiting Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ), 31-28 in Saturday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Griffins face the St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 10. Donovan Catholic will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Hermits enter the bout with a 8-2 record after their 35-14 non-league win over St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ).
