The Cook Hornets football team (Adel, GA), was beaten 35-27 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA)

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bacon County (Alma, GA). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Bacon County achieved victory over Atkinson County (Pearson, GA), 35-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Jeff Davis for a AA Region 1 challenge on Friday, September 22. Cook will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Metter (Metter, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-2.
