The Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) football overcame the host Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX), 27-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Tyler Legacy Raiders (Tyler, TX) in a 6A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, October 20. Royse City will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 10-7 league win over Horn (Mesquite, TX).

The Skeeters (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against North Forney (Forney, TX). The Falcons enter the 6A Region II District 10 bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, North Forney was toppled by Rockwall (Rockwall, TX), 65-26, in a league bout.
