September 22, 2023: Williamsburg, KY 40769 The North Greene Huskies football team (Greeneville, TN), was ripped 52-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Williamsburg Yellowjackets (Williamsburg, KY)
The Yellowjackets (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pineville (Pineville, KY). The Mountain Lions come into the 1A District 7 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Pineville trounced Harlan (Harlan, KY), 32-26, in a league challenge.
The Huskies now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cloudland for a 1A Region 1 challenge on Friday, September 29. North Greene will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 50-6 non-league loss to Hampton (Hampton, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-3.
