The Loomis Wolves football team (Loomis, NE), was beaten 28-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE)

The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bertrand (Bertrand, NE). The Vikings come into the D2 District 8 (8 Man) outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Bertrand went down by Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE), 44-8, in a league outing.

With the loss, Loomis moves to 1-3 on the season. The Wolves travel to Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE) to encounter the Wolves in a D2 District 8 (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 22. The Wolves go into the outing with a record of 2-2. Maywood/Hayes Center won 70-36 in their recent league outing against Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE)
