The McKinley Bulldogs (Canton, OH) football defeated the host Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), 37-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) in a Federal bout, on Friday, September 29. McKinley will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Blue Streaks enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 19-7 league win over Jackson (Massillon, OH).

The Vikings (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Perry (Massillon, OH). The Panthers enter the Federal bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Perry lost by Louisville (Louisville, OH), 13-12, in a league bout.
