The Marquette Catholic Explorers basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Riverton Hawks to 36 in the Explorers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Explorers now sport a 25-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Father McGivney Catholic for a Prairie State contest on Thursday, February 14.

The Hawks (18-10) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Bullets enter the Sangamo contest with a 22-4 record. In their last contest, Williamsville triumphed over West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] (Winchester, IL), 49-32, in a non-league contest.
