The Muncie Central Bearcats basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Jay County Patriots to 53 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bearcats now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette Jefferson for a North Central contest on Friday, January 4. Muncie Central will battle a Bronchos team coming off a 90-55 non-league win over Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN). The Bronchos record now stands at 7-2.

The Patriots (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Adams Central (Monroe, IN). The Flying Jets come into the Allen County contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Adams Central was defeated by Bellmont (Decatur, IN), 60-43, in a non-league contest.
