The Squalicum Storm basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers to 38 in the Storm league triumph on Friday.

The Storm now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakewood for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Tuesday, January 29. Squalicum will meet a Cougars team coming off a 63-55 league loss to Sehome (Bellingham, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 12-6.

The Pioneers (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Sultan (Sultan, WA). The Turks enter the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Sultan was outscored by King's (Seattle, WA), 95-38, in a league contest.
