The Power Center Academy (Memphis, TN) basketball felled the host Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), 60-40 in Saturday's non-league test.

The (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Westwood (Memphis, TN). The Longhorns go into the A District 16 test with a 16-2 record.

The Hawks now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Potts Camp for a 1A Region 2 test on Tuesday, January 29. Myrtle will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 91-54 league win over Ashland (Ashland, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-5.
