The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Trinity Christian Gryphons to 59 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host TEACH for a Hampton Roads contest on Tuesday, December 11. Veritas Collegiate Academy will battle a team coming off a 82-60 non-league loss to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA). The record now stands at 7-2.
