Florida High School Basketball - Cypress Creek knocked off by Windermere Prep
January 19, 2019: Windermere, FL 34786 The Windermere Prep Lakers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Cypress Creek Bears to 55 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lakers now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Highland Prep for a 5A District 6 contest on Wednesday, January 23. Windermere Prep will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 70-58 non-league loss to Colonial (Orlando, FL). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-11.
With the defeat, Cypress Creek moves to 5-11 on the year. The Bears host Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL) to meet the Hawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 22. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 9-9. Lake Minneola lost 56-44 in their recent non-league match against Apopka (Apopka, FL)
