Tennessee High School Basketball - Heritage can't hold off Ooltewah
December 20, 2018: Ooltewah, TN 37363 The Ooltewah Owls basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Heritage Generals to 67 in the Owls non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Owls now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murray County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 22. Ooltewah will battle a Indians team coming off a 68-46 non-league loss to North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Indians record now stands at 7-8.
The Generals (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA). The Warriors enter the AAA Region 6 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe was nudged by Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 73-67, in a non-league contest.
