The Marion Swamp Foxes basketball team scored 89 points and held the visiting Aynor Blue Jackets to 30 in the Swamp Foxes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Swamp Foxes now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dillon for a AA Region VIII contest on Friday, February 3. Marion will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 54-49 league loss to Mullins (Mullins, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-7.

The Blue Jackets (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors enter the AA Region VIII contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Waccamaw trounced Loris (Loris, SC), 38-22, in a league contest.
