The Vanden Vikings basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Center Cougars to 23 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wood for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Vanden will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 59-55 non-league loss to Grant (Sacramento, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
