The South Vermillion Wildcats basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Northview Knights to 44 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fountain Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. South Vermillion will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 52-34 league win over Rockville (Rockville, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-5.

The Knights (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against Clay City (Clay City, IN). The Eels come into the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Clay City was nudged by Sullivan (Sullivan, IN), 43-38, in a non-league contest.
