The Red Lion Lions football squad scored 42 points and restricted the host Hershey Trojans to 20 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manheim Township for a non-league battle on Friday, September 11. Red Lion will play a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 42-12 non-league loss to Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Elizabethtown Bears (Elizabethtown, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 12. Hershey will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Donegal (Mt. Joy, PA).
