The Central Christian Crusaders football squad scored 58 points and restricted the host Lafayette Christian to 56 in the Crusaders league victory on Friday.

The Crusaders now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evangel Family Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, October 2. Central Christian will face a Saints squad coming off a 82-76 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Pelham, AL). The Saints record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the face the Shiloh Hills Christian Challengers (Kennesaw, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 2. Lafayette Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
