The Wesley Chapel Wildcats football squad scored 28 points and restricted the host Anclote Sharks to 19 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zephyrhills for a 5A District 8 battle on Friday, October 23. Wesley Chapel will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 27-14 league loss to River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.

Coming up next, the Sharks face the River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) in a 5A District 8 battle, on Friday, October 23. Anclote will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Royal Knights enter the battle with a 7-0 record after their 27-14 league win over Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL).
