Massachusetts High School Football - Wilmington topples Pentucket Regional
October 23, 2009: Wilmington, MA 01887 The Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, MA) football defeated the visiting Pentucket Regional Sachems (West Newbury, MA), 31-7 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Topsfield, MA) in a Cape Ann - Large bout, on Friday, October 30. Wilmington will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Chieftains come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 42-19 league win over Triton Regional (Byfield, MA).
The Sachems now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Reading for a non-league game on Saturday, October 31. Pentucket Regional will battle a Hornets team coming off a 24-16 league loss to Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-6.
