California High School Football - La Salle topples Cantwell-Sacred Heart
November 6, 2009: Pasadena, CA 91107 The La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA) football defeated the visiting Cantwell-Sacred Heart Cardinals (Montebello, CA), 45-35 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Lancers face the Bosco Tech Tigers (Rosemead, CA) in a Camino Real bout, on Friday, November 13. La Salle will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 55-8 non-league loss to Serra (Gardena, CA).
The Cardinals (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Verbum Dei (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles enter the Camino Real bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Verbum Dei defeated Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA), 28-25, in a league bout.
