September 4, 2009: Smithville, TN 37166 The DeKalb County Tigers football team (Smithville, TN), was beaten 35-26 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Cannon County Lions (Woodbury, TN)
The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Donelson Christian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Wildcats come into the Division II A - East/Middle District 2 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Donelson Christian Academy achieved victory over Davidson Academy (Nashville, TN), 21-19, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host White County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 11. DeKalb County will meet a Warriors team coming off a 49-6 non-league loss to Cookeville (Cookeville, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 0-3.
