The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pearsall (Pearsall, TX). The Mavericks come into the 3A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Pearsall trounced Devine (Devine, TX), 18-15, in a league challenge.
The Javelinas now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hondo for a 3A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, October 9. Crystal City will meet a Owls team coming off a 57-28 league win over Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX). The Owls record now stands at 4-1.
